How and when can I enroll my child?

Ongoing enrollment for the 2026/2027 school year.  The first step is to reach out through the website contact page or contact me directly at foxwalkchildcare@gmail.com and we will find a time where you and your child can visit me here on the ranch.  I look forward to meeting you and talking with you more!

What does a typical day look like?

I like to allow room for emergent curriculum and the flexibility to meet the different needs of the children that can vary each day.  For this reason, I do not hold a hard schedule.  However, our days most often flow as follows:  

• Child-led play while everyone arrives during the rolling drop off 9:30-10:00.  
• A welcoming circle introducing a theme for the day through songs, connection questions, movement and stories.
•  Exploration of the landscape with Earth skills and awareness-based activities and games woven in as we wander and play. 
• Lunch and crafts during a rolling pickup 1:00 to 1:30.

Is this a 100% outdoor school?

No.  Though a majority of our time is spent outdoors, I do have an indoor space as well.  This indoor space is often for lunch and crafts at the end of the day with the rest of our time spent outside.

How much does this program cost?

This program costs $61/day.  Payment for the entire month is due by the first of each month. Though I collect payment monthly, I am looking for families committed to enrolling for the entire school year.
